MATTHEW GIBBONS   TECHNICAL DIRECTION AND DESIGN

The director and I chose to use signage and simplicity to establish location.

 

We arrived at pastel color blocks which rotated or hinged out to reveal stylized text as our primary means of establishing location.

A pair of curved, wedge platforms was shared between "Cry Baby" and "Tarzan."  The units could form a flexible central stage, or exist as individual levels throughout the playing space.
